All is Full of Love

I happen to be a fan of Bjork’s music, and on this Valentine’s Day I would like to take one song I really like: All is Full of Love

You’ll be given love
You’ll be taken care of
You’ll be given love
You have to trust it

Maybe not from the sources
You have poured yours
Maybe not from the directions
You are staring at

Twist your head around
It’s all around you
All is full of love
All around you

All is full of love
You just ain’t receiving
All is full of love
Your phone is off the hook
All is full of love
Your doors are all shut
All is full of love!

What I like about the song is that it tells you that Love is everywhere. I don’t know about your life, but surely you often experience surprising moment that a random stranger is giving you something you don’t deserve. Or a person you wrong about or care none does something great for you that you deserve otherwise.

Love comes not only from ones you Love, but also from those people from whom you’ve never even Loved or see. Just like from the clip, it’s not from the sources you have poured yours, also not from the direction you are staring at. Love is not exclusive for relationships, but is always there when you want to.

I’m sure also that oftentimes we take love for granted, we ain’t receiving it, and we close doors to people who’s actually going to pour great love to us. People might wrong us if we open our doors indeed, but it’s worth the risk somehow, that by opening ourselves we actually trigger others to open themselves, showing who they really are. We’ll know ones who really care for us. Vulnerability is Innocence.

Love is limitless, Love knows no boundary. It’s never going to hurt to Love others, or to do random kindness to random stranger. I think such act is the forthmost example of Love, a simple action of kindness to an unwelcome stranger.

Do unto others you want others do unto you and Do not do unto others you don’t want others do to you.

Henceforth, Happy Valentine’s Day, all of you!

In my native language Bahasa: Selamat Hari Kasih Sayang!

In French, a language am learning now: Joyeuse Saint Valentin!
