“…having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.”
–John 13:1, ESV
One whom He choose, He love till the end of time. How can God does not love not one whom He choose? Or choose one whom He does not love?
Though you may drift away from Him, He keeps looking for you, just like this excerpt of poem Hounds of Heaven by Francis Thompson:
From those strong Feet that followed, followed after.
But with unhurrying chase,
And unperturbèd pace,
Deliberate speed, majestic instancy,
They beat—and a Voice beat
More instant than the Feet—
‘All things betray thee, who betrayest Me’.
‘Naught shelters thee, who wilt not shelter Me.’
‘Lo! naught contents thee, who content’st not Me.’
Lo, all things fly thee, for thou fliest Me!
Thou dravest love from thee, who dravest Me.’
Not all who wanders are lost, for some of them are sought after by The Good Shepherd.
